Vacation Gateway. Krabi 2011. Part 1

Finally its June 2011.

My vacation this year is to Krabi, Thailand. Our flight to Krabi, Thailand depart at 1.20pm Malaysia time and arrive krabi at 1.35pm. Time difference between Krabi and Malaysia is 1 hour. Our journey took about 1.5 hour to Krabi. Due to the bad weather in Penang...a lot of air pocket in the air.. Sacray!!

As we arrived at the Krabi Airport..our transfer van already waiting for us. We book from air asia since we afraid that it will be difficult to get any local transfer. Our cost is actually RM33 per person compare to local it it is only 150 TB which is RM15. Very cheap!..

From Krabi Airport to Aonang Beach, it took about 20 min. We book our hotel from Agoda.com. Since, June is a low peak season, one night cost about RM 90 only. We choose Aonang Palace because of its location. It looks like a shop houses but for me its enuf for us to sleep. We are not on honeymoon vacation.. :P

Before we book the hotel, we did our research tru the internet. Stumble into nuraina.com or naim.com. they provide complete information on hotel and food at Krabi. An yes Aonang Palace its also the best for a traveler like me.

Reason.. near tourist information center. 5 min to aonang beach. 5 min to long tail ticket center. 5 min to Ocean mart and 7-Eleven. Local station for tuk tuk is only in front of the hotel. Local halal street food is also near to Mc Donald which is in the same row of ocean mart. Besides, i can get Aonang tee short for 130TB form the shop in front of our hotel. The cheapest I can found at Aonang. Some sell for 140TB, 250TB. You need to bargain!.. Buy more get more discount..

Just nice.. very clean and friendly staff.

You can get free wifi almost everywhere in Aonang either in hotel or even massage center. So you can facebook everywhere.. :)

Once we check in, we perform our jamak prayer and yes.. walk around to Aonang beach. We can see the beach from our window. Our plan tonight.. exploring night market...
